The quick test 38 pen is our most popular; it is available in a bright red ink. The quick test pen serves to check the surface treatment of all plastic substrates.

It has a shown an effect onto the material. A stroke of the pens leaves a full line on the material if the material’s surface energy is below 38dynes/cm.

If the materials surface energy is below 38 dynes/cm, the fluid will form small drops on the surface. The fluid applied to the surface will dry within seconds; it does not need to / cannot be wiped off anymore.

Pens are easy to handle, perfect for the quick spot checks on the production floor, and very easy to read, no subjectivity for this type of test, no wiping off necessary, lasting display of result, and very striking red and blue coloring.
