P6000 POWER SUPPLIES
The P6000 Series remains one of the more versatile power supplies available on the market today.
This compact unit incorporates both the IGBT (integrated gate bi-polar transistor) technology and a proprietary control circuit design that enables instant and efficient “true” power.
The P6000 automatically adjusts itself to match into any electrode style or dielectric material and offers the operator better than 4 to 1 load matching. The versatility of the P6000 Series Corona Treater Power Supply provides for a turn down ratio of 20 to 1, allowing the operator to precisely turn the power up or down to achieve the desired treat level.
The specially designed power measurement circuit guarantees that the power specifi ed is the power being delivered,
and the feedback circuit automatically maintains constant output power regardless of minor changes in load conditions, humidity and temperature.

WHAT IS LOAD MATCHING?
Load matching is the ability of a power supply to provide full output power to various load conditions. Typically, thesechanges in load are caused by adjusting electrodes to match different treat widths, although changes from one rollcovering type to another or to different electrode sizes will also change load conditions.
WHAT IS TURN DOWN RATIO?
Turn down ratio is the ability of a power supply to reduce the output power to the bare minimum and still produce aneven corona across the air gap. This is critical when a variety of different materials are to be treated or when proportionalspeed adjustments are automatically made. How does this relate to
HOW DOES THIS RELATE TO PILLAR’S P6000 SERIES POWER SUPPLY?
Pillar’s P6000 has been designed to provide the widest range of flexibility to its user. Setting it in a class by itself, theP6000 load matching ability is capable of providing a range typical of variable frequency power supplies.
